Nice Hotel in Downtown Indianapolis
We stayed at the Marriott Downtown while mother-in-law watched our toddler. We enjoyed our overnight at the Marriott but would probably look to another hotel next time. The price for our room was good for downtown Indianapolis but the service was much lacking. The receptionist wrote and told us the wrong room number upon arrival. So trek back all the way downstairs from the 15th floor to retrieve correct information and keys. There was no Kleenex in the room. Very loud and inconsiderate hotel guests on our floor but only until about 11-11:30 p.m. This however, I am finding, is very typical behavior for American hotel guests anymore. Very sad.
The checkout process is very convenient via telephone or online television menu.

MMMmmmmm.. look closely at your bathroom and furnishings
It seems every year we have to stay at this hotel for conventions, and every year we have to change rooms! We have had glass broken on our bathroom floor, a tub that would not hold water for a bath, hair everywhere (as if they cut it there!!), heating and air conditioning problems galore. Or just a nasty smelling room. Check things out before you unpack is my rule for this hotel!
