El Torito Grill is dedicated to bringing you the sensory experience that is a fusion of the contemporary and native foods of Mexico. Our flour tortillas are handmade, prepared fresh throughout the day and served with our fresh salsas and signature honey butter. Our wood fired mesquite grill imparts a sweet, smokey essence to sizzling fajitas, grilled chicken, steak and fresh fish dishes.
We use only the freshest and highest quality ingredients and our recipes are made-from-scratch every day. From the mesquite grilling of our Shrimp Diabla to the savory spices in our Tamarind Barbeque Baby Back Ribs, El Torito Grill offers a creative twist on traditional Mexican dining.
Our house margaritas are hand-shaken and made with premium Jose Cuervo tequila and Orange Curacao. We specialize in an abundant selection of oak-aged Reposado, Anejo and 100% Blue Agave Tequilas made for sipping with citrus or alone in a snifter.

Upscale Mexican and Nice Family Dining
El Torito Grill sports the requisite Spanish stucco décor, possesses several comfortable dining areas and also offers outside seating. It's casual in atmosphere and is slightly upscale for your standard Mexican restaurant. On the Friday night that we dined, there was immediate seating and the staff was friendly and welcoming. Our waiter was pleasant, very attentive to detail and seemed interested in making it an enjoyable evening for us. Any diner that has ever been entertained in a Mexican restaurant can recite the menu by heart. El Torito Grill is no different. It had a wide variety of the standard Mexican/Southwestern fare. The complimentary appetizer of tortillas and sauces was a nice variation from the typical chips and salsa. The entrees and dinner salads were substantial in portion and prepared in a way that was pleasing to the palate. The halibut special was particularly good. The Mexican flan was a definite hit! The wine selection was very basic and offered few options. The beer was cold and the margarita selection was extensive and offered all the top shelf brands. The prices seemed slightly high (but certainly not unreasonable) for this type of food. Overall, this is a good choice for a dinner out with the family. El Torito Grill offers a family friendly, comfortable atmosphere with good food and attentive service.

Not a "typical" Mexican restaurant
Four friends met for dinner, all first time to El Torito Grill. We all were very pleased with our food. Menu does a good job describing the dishes. Some old favorites, but many new to me. Several seafood choices. I tried "Santa Fe Enchilada Stack." Beautifully served and wonderful flavor. Had the creamy flan for dessert. Excellent. Can't wait to return to try other dishes. Server was friendly and professional. Unique beautiful building. Prices don't knock your socks off--definitely get your money's worth. Coffee was even good!

The Best Grilled Shrimp Outside of the Tropics
The food is fantastic! The grilled shrimp is absolutely the best in town and maybe the best of any city without a beach. Prices are high for Mexican but this is not your local mom and pop restaurant. El Torito Grill is part of a great evening out!
