Like Little Italy in the 50s, Buca di Beppo celebrates the vital, vibrant and powerfully flavored cooking of Southern Italy. It's a place where you can smell the homemade marinara sauce before you reach the door. Where the wine flows from the jug and the laughter often drowns out the music.
Buca di Beppo offers flavorful helpings of favorites like Spaghetti with Meatballs, Chicken Cacciatore, Linguine Frutti di Mare and Neapolitan Pizzas, as well as a rotating menu of nightly specials. Meant to be shared, dishes go straight from the kitchen to the middle of your table- family-style in Buca Small portions for 2-3 people and Buca Large for 4-6 people. Buca di Beppo has a menu to satisfy any craving.

Dinner at Buca
Buca is always a fun destination, especially with a crowd. The dishes are meant for sharing - small for 2-4 and large for 4 or more. I highly recommend the apple gorgonzola salad, eggplant parmesan and apple crostata for dessert. The penne campfiore was okay. It's hard to leave without leftovers. This time I took home enough for 2-3 more meals!

Be VERY hungry; take your family, not your date
This food is served family style, so if you're going alone or with a date, be prepared to eat the same thing. Probably best for families, but a great atmosphere. Don't ask for the kitchen table; you'll end up looking at the back sides of people waiting in line. Hit the bar!

Dining experience
We ate lunch there and it was not very busy at the time we were there. The staff was so kind and friendly. This was the first time we had visited Indianapolis and they were helpful in suggesting things to see and do. The food was good but the size portions are meant for family groups. The individual portions are huge! We tried the buccini for an appetizer and it was something different and was good. The bill seemed high for what we ordered. Go with a family group and know that the portions are large. The atmosphere added authenticity to the experience.
