Bazbeaux is a great downtown dining option off the beaten path. Located at the edge of Massachusetts Avenue, the outdoor seating and delicious pies make for the perfect location to dine out on the weekends. The pizza is unlike any other I have ever had and the outdoor seating and hip basement are excellent places to enjoy it.

Bazbeaux has been a favorite of mine for quite a few years. It's a perfect lunch when you get a slice of pizza (usually a few to choose from) and a side salad (creamy cucumber dressing). They sell Jones Soda (yum!), too. Don't miss the quattro formaggio or the tchoupitoulas...

For pizza lovers, this Indy original is a must. Customers are overwhelmed with topping choices to create your own pizza or the option to select from one of Bazbeaux's unique collaborations. I decided on the Mexican pizza which was loaded (nearly an inch thick of toppings!) with italian sausage, chedder cheese, banana peppers, avocado, green peppers and more. Needless to say, I was more than satisfied with the freshness of the ingredients and the crispness of their crust. In addition, Bazbeaux's location along the trendy Mass Ave makes for a perfect night out - an impressive dinner at Bazbeaux's followed by some window shopping at some of Mass Ave's quaint knick-knack stores.

We ate out on the patio and this was enjoyable. This is just one block off of Mass Ave that we just happened to run into for lunch. The pizza was sooooo good. It is a must to try. The waiting staff was o.k. I think that they were very busy serving both inside and outside, this is tough to do. The inside decor is dark in color.
