Arni's always satisfies
Best known for their pizza, Arni's is a Hoosier family-friendly restaurant with a variety of delicious menu options. The atmosphere at this Indianapolis location is a must-see because of its uniqueness.
During this particular visit, dinner began with the junior salad; another one of Arni's specialties. The bowl was presented with a pile of diced ham topped by a pile of shredded mozzarella cheese. This tasty combination was finished with four radish slices and as many croutons. The lettuce was found only after searching for it. Once all of the ingredients were mixed together with a generous dab of bleu cheese dressing, the flavor combination brought back fond memories of eating the same salad as an undergraduate at Purdue......Yummy!
Not in the mood for the traditional marinara sauce with cheese and some type of meat style pie, my guest and I selected the chicken portabella mushroom pizza. This taste sensation had no sauce. Roasted red peppers and just a hint of garlic perfectly complemented the main ingredients in this pizza.
Dessert of triple chocolate cheesecake (a dark chocolate crust, bittersweet chocolate cheesecake and milk chocolate cheesecake) was rich, creamy and delicious; a nice finale to our dining experience.
