1,400-acre lake, nature preserve, Earth Discovery Center, trails and park. Rentals for canoe, kayak, Hobie Cat, sailboats, pontoon boats, wind-surfing, pedal boats, lessons. Picnic areas, concessions and swim beach. Home of many national rowing competitions and olympic trials.
Cross Country Skiing is available at several Indy Parks. Eagle Creek Park has groomed trails and ski rental available at the Marina. Please call ahead to confirm skiing conditions, 327-7130. Ski rental is available at Eagle Creek Park only.
Rental fee: $10/per hour
includes skis, boots and poles.

Paddling Fun
Being a water-lover in land-locked Indianapolis, Eagle Creek Park's lake is a perfect water getaway for me and my kayak. Beautiful park setting, and if you don't have your own boat to launch, they rent canoes, kayaks, wind surfers, hobie cats, pontoon boats and small sail boats. Great fun.
